Charles has worked with ADN since 2011. In addition to providing analytical analysis and support for client mandates, he is involved in deal structuring and relationship building. Prior to working at ADN, Charles worked for Bechtel Enterprises – the ownership and development arm of Bechtel, as a Vice President in the structured finance group principally in San Francisco. He has worked on the development and implementation of commercial and financial structures of a variety of projects including, the Corex project, the Portland Light Rail Max project ($127million), the Calpine projects ($1.8 billion, 3- 500MW gas fired cogen power plants), the strategic Singapore desalinization project ($150million),and was the lead instructor for several years training the new hire MBAs at Bechtel Enterprises in the development process and detailed financial modeling.
Prior to his work at Bechtel Enterprises, he worked for Bechtel for several years in various financial functions in London, San Francisco, and Houston. Prior to that, Charles worked at various times for Xerox Corporation, World Savings, and Kaiser Permanente in financial and project management capacities.
Charles holds an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business in Finance and International Business. He holds a BA from UC Berkeley in Chemistry. He also has certifications as a CPA, CMA, and PMP.
